
What is counselling?

Counselling provides an opportunity to explore the things that are creating difficulties in your life with a trained professional, in a safe and confidential space.
This private space is separate from your daily life and an opportunity for you to speak openly.
Counselling helps you identify your strengths and resources, regardless of your age or circumstances, to manage your current difficulties and realise your full potential.
During our session, we will offer you understanding, a feeling of being listened to, valued and accepted in a non-judgmental way. There is no pressure on you and we’re not here to tell you what to do. Instead, as counsellors, we aim to help you find your own answers.
For some this will be a relatively short process, for others, longer term work. Depending on your individual requirements, together we will find a pace that’s suitable to you.
