Time for Me was born from a conversation, between two sisters, on how it would be great if there was a company that specialised in helping build women's confidence and enhance their lives.  So we decided it was time we provided the service.... 

Tanya uses her 12 years brand experience with Guinness, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and the Daily Mail to help women develop their own personal brand.  She trained in 2008 with Europe's top Colour Me Beautiful image consultant, Cliff Bashforth, and specialised in Bridal Artistry with the Jemma Kidd School of Make-up in 2009.  Tanya is a guest speaker at the professional make-up artist's course at the Jemma Kidd School of Make-up and is a trainer at the Look Good .... Feel Better workshops at Belfast City Hospital. She is a qualified interior designer and holds the prized international Echo Award for the Relationship Marketing Programme she developed for Guinness. 

When attending a Colour Me Beautiful appointment, Tanya likes to exceed your expectations and send you off wishing you had came to see her sooner!

In her spare time, Tanya loves walking her Bichon Frise, Monty, by the sea.  She loves eating out, nice wine, dancing and watching a good film.

At 16 years old Amanda Lafferty was one of the few lady jockeys in Northern Ireland. Her next career move was equally exciting as she practiced as a RGN and Midwife for over 27 years.. Her Midwifery career began in London where she lived and worked for 16 years. She worked in both the NHS and the private sector which gave her a varied working environment and highlighted that all women have the same needs during pregnancy - most importantly to be treated as an individual!!! Two years ago her life changed dramatically. She was a ward manager and because of the many changes in the NHS, her management role dictated that there was little time to spend looking after the women in labour and birth. As fate would have it she was asked to look after two women in labour. They had both completed a childbirth programme called Hypnobirthing - what she saw changed the course of her career forever. They had the most calm, relaxed and gentle births she had ever seen.She left her job and retrained in London as a Hypnobirthing Practitioner.The course was so brilliant that she decided to train as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist as she realised the power we all have within us, much of which is not utilised.Amanda has been nominated on three occasions for Midwife of the year. When she's not working she loves to spend time horseriding, cooking and living life to the full....
